whoa .. I don't see this happening, but ... I will say Monmouth was so bad on defense, JMU might struggle early and go into funk against the UNI defense just in comparison to the sieve called Monmouth they played last week.

Trying to make up ground in the competition, and I could not pick against NDSU for my upset pick. ;)

That said, I am one of those that perhaps gives UNI too much credit having watched them since the early-mid 2000's while in Iowa and having seen them every other year in Fargo since the late 2000's. I don't care what you think of them, UNI will punch you in the mouth, whether or not you are ready for them (I mean this respectfully...they are tough). Their toughness year in and year out is second-to-none, and defense travels. They just have to find enough offense to compliment their defensive effort. I think this game will tell us quite a bit about JMU (at least for those of us that have not seen JMU due to FloSports). I am very much looking forward to Friday night's game.

I am sure it is my MVFC homerism, but this was the upset I decided to go with (and I mean absolutely no disrespect to JMU).

Understand your trying to find an upset to gain on filed.

And I agree about UNI ... BUT like my ISUr, I don't don't think this is a match up either can win this week because of how much weve each lost to injuries, and how balanced and explosive NDSU and JMU are. For my ISUr, it was a long shot if we were healthy. But obviously, anything can happen on "any given saturday" .... regardless, I'm going down rooting for my Redbirds to knock the Bison off. We've won the run game battle with them before (last year, not this year !!!), we can do it again ... maybe.
