ISU over CAS by 1 (21-20, gonna go for 2 to win but loose)
NDSU over Nick by 36 (49-13, Nick will get a late TD off of the backups)

unless someone comes out flat or unprepared or weird sh-t happens, this will be a close game.

Southland is conference on the rise especially with better depth this year ... I'm big believer in all ships tend to rise and fall .. until they don't. But Southland is certqainly deeper, just not so sure the top is better yet. And MVFC fell off this year, in lower half anyway, top is fine ... but a few more injuries than usual (on offense anyway) for UNI and my ISUr.

But we are polar opposites statistically ... so that makes it a little harder to predict this game. Your strength is passing, our weakness is passing. Overall your probably stronger offensively, but we're definitely stronger defensively. Something has to give some there.

We've been burned too recently. On one hand, they won at SDSU by 9 and at SEMO by 18. On the other hand, they only beat Missouri State by 5 and were shut down by Youngstown State by 18. And that's all been in the last month. Those are some pretty wild swings.

I could go back to 2016 and 2017, and similarly rattle of 2 or 3 very impressive wins, alongside 2 very weak losses each year. 2018 we laid a couple eggs, but had no real impressive wins. But inconsistency is our hallmark.
