Hope the door didn't smack him in the butt...

Disgruntled wide receiver Terrell Owens reportedly has left the Philadelphia Eagles training camp after a dispute with head coach Andy Reid.According to various reports on television and radio, Owens exchanged words with Reid at a team meeting and was asked to leave.Owens then reportedly got his belongings and cleared out of Eagles training camp at Lehigh University, according to one television report.

According to radio station WIP-AM and Comcast SportsNet, there are conflicting reports about whether Reid asked Owens to leave, or Owens left camp on his own.

"Oh, stewardess - I speak Jive"

What he said was, basically there is a website called bugmenot.com that you can usually get password information from for those kinds of sites. Further, if you look into the Firefox browser, there is an extension (two actually) that allows you to automatically paste in the bugmenot information without having to go to the website.

It's cool. I use it with great success.

In the interview on ESPN halftime, Rosenhaus said Owens only has $12 Million of his contract. If a person makes $100,000 per year salary, it would take them 120 years to make TO's $12 Million. Pathetic! :o

Nothing would make me happier or make a bigger statement to all of the whiney A-HOLES in the NFL than if the Eagles cut his sorry ass and no other team signed him. Make an example out of him then maybe all of the others will stop their hold outs.

Not taking sides on this because I'm not getting a dime from TO or the NFL.

The question is .............Why don't people get this upset when the OWNERS waive, release, or outright cut a player when his contract calls for his salary to balloon so they can re-sign them on the cheap.

Troy Brown has played his entire career, (12 years), with the Patroits. He has done everything they asked of him including playing both ways. He was due to make $2.5 million this year. What did the owner do ...............RELEASED HIM IN FEBUARY.

He had to make the decision to move his family, and start over to "get his money", or bite the bullet and take a $1.5 million PAY CUT.

This happens every time a player get's ready to collect on the "money end" of a contract. WHERE'S THE OWNERS LOYALTY?

JUST ASKING. :D

BTW: Let him go Philly. Bruce will be retiring to the HOF in a few. St. Louis will throw him all the passes he can catch. :beerchug:

NFL reality... there's no loyality when it comes to managing a 'hard cap'... do it well and you'll remain competitive... do it poorly and you will eventualy slide into mediocrity or worse. The days of rewarding a player for past performance are long gone... it's 'future' performance that matters now.

i.e., you become the Saints, Cardinals, Bengals and now ... the 49er's ;)

I am not a fan of the owners either, but could you retire on $12 Million? ;)

Well, I think T.O. is officially out of supporters. Even Stephen A. Smith is done apologizing for him and said so in his column in today's Philly Inquirer. Remember, Smith is the lone reporter who will defend ANY black athlete's behavior, no matter how egregious. Since Stephen is off the T.O. bandwagon, there's nobody left to steer it!

The Eagles receiving corps did OK last night (12 catches) without TO. However, their special teams stunk up the joint. :(

Don't really care too much about pre-season, but what an F'd up game. 14-0 before the Steeler offense steps on the field.

1 - INT returned for TD
1 - Punt returned for TD (after a rekick for offsetting penalties)
1 - 100 yard KO return for TD
1 - Rushing TD
1 - Passing TD
1 - FG

All they needed was a safety for the cycle. :p

Well, he returned today and all the politically correct things were said by the staff, the players and even "himself." How long will this last????
