Do the Cavs have any chance in this one?

I'd be surprised if the Cadavaliers win more than one game here.

I think that would be a safe bet. Can't imagine this series going more than 5.

I don't know about that. Remember last year the Cavs took the Pistons 7 games. I not saying they will this year but if Detroit isn't focused it could be a long series.

They did stuggle in the 2nd round. That could've easily been the Bulls winning the series.

The Cavs haven't really been tested. The Nets are never really stable besides Kidd and the washington series was a joke. The Cavs can win some games, but i'm putting my monet on detroit. Plus I hate the cavs, especially Lebron and Varejao.

think the NBA isn't sweating the idea of a Cleveland/Utah finals?

I think the NBA would do better to have LeBron in the finals than the Pistons. We've already seen what a Pistons/Spurs series means for ratings (though I like it as a bball fan). I say Pistons in 6, they'll relax for two games like they always seem to.

Having LeBron in the Finals is the best possible scenario for the NBA right now, regardless of who comes out of the west.

cavs/jazz would actually provide a pretty interesting story line with carlos boozer

final score?

PantherRob82

wow..only 79-76. Very low scoring for the NBA. Would love to see the Cavs take this series. I get bored of the same teams in the finals.

I doubt you'll see many 100 point games in this series. I think both teams are going to stay under 90 for the series.

Lebron played a lot better last night. Not a bad game for him (25 pts) and not bad for Gibson either (21 pts). Nobody is giving Cavs much of a chance though. I say it goes to a game 7 if Lebron can play like he did last night for the rest of the series.

Cavs could have wrapped this series up last night if they had showed up in games 1&2.xeekx

That's true. We'll see how they play tonight. If the Spurs play in the Finals the way they did last night xeekx It'll be tough for either of these two to win the Finals

You have to remember that they had a good chance to win both of those games in Detroit. In Game 1, the guy who LeBron dished to missed a wide-open 3 to tie, and in Game 2 he got hacked on a drive to the rim but got a terrible no call. This series could have easily been a sweep for the Cavs. xeekx

I would expect the Pistons to come out strong tonight to get the win, but it's a tough call.

We have yet to see Detroit play a complete game and Cleveland has 3rd quarter woes. So who knows what we'll see.

If he takes the last shot in game two, maybe they are in the finals.....who knows. The guy can play. He is pretty much the face of the NBA right now, and who better than him!xnodx

I'm watching the highlights from the game, and I don't really know if there are words to describe Lebron. Fun to watch for sure.xeekx

He had quite a game. xeekx Maybe one day his teammates will show up too. I want to see how Detroit handles this now that they're down a game.

I don't watch much NBA, but tuned in for the last half of the fourth quarter last night and the overtimes.

As others have said - WOW! Unbelievable...

But his teammates are (channel Bill Walton) HORRIBLE down the stretch.

I think he passed up the shot in game 1. Game 2 he went to the hole, missed and Hughes missed the putback.
