CMS College Stags (USA) @ Tallaght Outlaws
Postal Sports Club, Tallaght.
On May 19th, The Tallaght Outlaws are pleased to announce that we will be hosting The Claremont McKenna College (CMS) Stags as part of Global Football's tour to the Emerald Isle. The This is sure to be a great day for all players and coaches from both teams. The Stags are a NCAA college football team from California, USA. This is the third time Ireland has hosted a Global Football Tour with John Carroll Univ and Adrian College Michigan playing Team Ireland in 2004 and 2005 respectively. However, this will be the first time that an IAFL club side has played opposition of such a high standard. It is hoped that Tallaght's hosting of the event will raise the profile of the new Outlaws team in South West Dublin.
The Stags play in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and finished with a 5-5 record in 2006. The Stags are led by Quarterback Aaron Gonzales who won player of the week awards for his performances in the NCAA in 2006.
