UVA loses again to Oregon State, 7-3. After blowing the game yesterday to advance, UVA couldn't win today's either. Ugh.

Louisville blew a tough game. I also think UC-Irvine is going to be a sleeper, they walked through Round-Rock without a problem and played a tough away game vs. WSU and showed some guts to hold on to that lead. I think they could be the Rice of 03

It would be nice to see UC Irvine in the CWS for the first time. I'm so used to seeing CS Fullerton & Long Beach St. come out of the Big West

I think Fullerton can beat UCLA, but I think UC-Irvine has a "surer" road to Omaha and giving it a better chance at winning the CWS.

Horrendous call in Wichita keeps the Shockers in it. I've never seen in 37 years of watching baseball another ump overrule a 1st base ump call at 1st base & the 1st base ump had it right replays showed.

I cant believe the way the ump almost blew that game. Atleast at the end the WSU fans cheered UC-Irvine, showed a lot of class. UC-Irvine is the third team in now.

They have to beat Rice twice more than likely...not going to happen with a well-rested Owls pitching staff...
