COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- Following a convincing sweep of Miami to open league play, a pair of University of North Dakota players were named among the National Collegiate Hockey Conference's weekly honorees. Junior Jordan Kawaguchi was dubbed the forward of the week while fellow assistant captain junior Matt Kiersted was named the top defenseman.
