I stared at that one for a long time trying to decide which way to go. I think it's pretty even on paper, at a neutral site. The fact that it's at SDSU and Farley seems to be very good at finding interesting ways to lose tipped me that direction.

At this point there are 12 teams with 2 or fewer loses and 21 teams with 3 loses. Thus, 3 lose teams losing another game might move themselves out of the playoffs so the next 2 weeks are critical for 3 lose teams, IMO. Thus, games like SDSU and UNI are big games, not just because they are league games but at this time might be playoff games. I know both those teams are ranked in the top ten so another loss might not be that bad but like SDSU, they have SD left at SD and that game could be a very tough game for SDSU is they lose to UNI.

Yes, it's a tough one for me ... N Iowa not special but super solid, lot's of talent in the DB... Who picked Illi State to beat S Dak State anyway?

with UNI moving up in the rankings and SDSU dropping, the Panthers might start thinking they are favored, which would mean they'll choke.
maybe if enough people pick against them, it will counteract that and they might pull out a win. (but I'm not holding my breath)

I picked SIU, but I'd gladly be wrong on that one. Massey says 13% chance of victory for WIU...which is bad, but a lot better than the 0% that they gave us against NDSU last week or the 3% we have against UNI.

Missouri St @ Illinois St - The Bears seem to have a knack for catching teams in their "letdown game" but James Robinson is too good in any case.

Youngstown St @ Indiana St - No real basis to pick this game this way except a gut feeling.

Southern Illinois @ Western Illinois - SIU keeps it rolling (again).

Northern Iowa @ South Dakota St - I think SDSU avoids the turnovers and is able to grind out a win in a slugfest.

South Dakota @ North Dakota St - The Bison offense may be as good as it has ever been and the Yote defense is bad... recipe for a blowout.
