Just a curious George question. Not sure if this was ever brought up before. How much is a game ticket and parking at your home site?
Delaware tickets range from $30 for a box seat (which provides you a chair cramped into the lowest railed off section of the stadium) to $21 for the East and West side bench seat stands to $16 end zone seats.
Parking is now $12 (was $10 past couple years and was $5 for as long as I can remember). At least it includes a 30 gallon trash bag.

About $7-8 for me. Under 30 benefit of scholarship club cuts my ticket in half and no parking fees. If you want to figure in my PSC benefits to the per game, then I have no idea. :D

NDSU fans can look for parking prices to go up do to the fact that they are either $3 or $5. Tickets are about $20.

Tickets at Montana average $27.00 a game no matter where you sit. Then between the 30's there is a GSA fee attached. Sitting between the 40's probably costs about $65.00 a game.

A few games on the ASU schedule are going up $5 this fall.
Lenoir-Rhyne, Northern Arizona and Chattanooga are $20 (same as last year).
Gardner-Webb, Georgia Southern and Western Carolina will be $25. Still a quite reasonable price to watch a ballgame. xrotatehx
Parking in the Stadium lot is available to Yosef Club donors at the 1500 dollar level. Some spots in the Raley lot are going to YC donors at the 250 level. I think everywhere else on campus is first come-first serve.

Nicholls State 2006 Ticket Prices
Box Seats - $20/game
Chair Backs - $17/game
Bleachers (General Admission) - $10/game
Press Box - $1,200/season
Students - Free with ID
These prices were games last season. Season ticket prices were the same as buying tickets for each game individually. You could purchase a parking pass to park in the lot adjacent to the home side of the stadium for $10 (good for all 6 games). But free parking is in abundance on campus, very close to the stadium.

McNeese is $16.00 for reserved, which is everything between the 10 yard lines on the east and west sides. And $12 for GA, Everything outside of the 10 yd. lines. Kinda dumb if you ask me that the seats between the 40's go for the same price as those on the 11 or 20 yard line. I've been proposing to raise the cost between the 40's (where I sit) to something like $20-$22.
There are about 40, 4 or 5 seat box seats behind the visiting team on the west side in the shade that go for $750 to 1,000 a year.
There are some seats behind the home team from the 40 yd line to the EZ and up to about row 17 that are reserved for students only, along with 2 other sections between the east 20 Ydline and the goal line. Students are free, IF they pick up their tickets before a certain time on game day from the book store. I think they can also purchase a guess pass for a reduced amount ($5 to $7 xconfusedx )
Then their are 13 private suites in the Sky Ranch that seat 10 persons each that sell for $15,000 a year, IF you commit to a 5 year reservation. If not it's more. but most if not all make the 5 year commitment.
Then there are apx. 200 club seats on the 2nd deck of the Sky Ranch that go for about $750 each, with a 3 or a 5 year commitment (not certain on that comitment lenght), but there is a long waiting list for those club seats, which is why McNeese is adding another 420 club seats above the new fieldhouse complex in the North End Zone. The cost there will be a bit less than the Sky Ranch, because they are in the endzone, but hey, They have a full Bar available. xsmiley_wix
Also, Parking in the main lots, are $60 per year for the 1,785 parking spaces, and you must be a season ticket holder to be able to purchase a parking spot. Spots are NOT sold on an individual game basis. It's all or none. And parking suck if you can't park their.
Tailgate spots go for $250 a year for a 23 x 48 foot tailgate spot. We have 120 reserved spots, and about 20 or 30, First come first serve spots in a crappy grass covered wet parking lot that tends to give towing companies plenty of business when it rains. But they still fill up because we have a waiting list for the reserved tailgate spots.

The luxury boxes at Montana, I think there's about 50, came up for renewal after this season. We're hearing they are going up to $20,000 per season. Our luxury boxes hold 10-12 folks.

What you highlighted in Tailgator's post is not our luxury boxes. They are up in the press box. What he was talking about in the highlighted area of the post, is that there are a few box seats that are similar to box seats at a baseball stadium that have chairbacks and are separated by metal railing. They are on the first rows behind the visitor's bench on the press box side. They are nothing speical other than they have chairback seats and have a little more room than the regular seats right above them.
Now the luxury boxes in the SkyRanch are first class.

One footnote to aust's post; I buy a family four pack for UD season tix. It gives me four seats, but two must be used for children under 18. It only cost me I think $160 this year for all four for the whole season. Best deal around. Seats have been moved around, but this year they will all be in the North End Zone, but I will be 4th row between the goal posts. xthumbsupx

not sure how much chairback seats are...
Can't remember the details, but the chairback seats are for the well heeled, big bux contributors. My faulty memory tells me that it is something akin to the "seat licenses" that you find in many NFL stadiums. I do not believe that they are for sale to the general public unless you can demonstrate a handicap or other unique circumstance.
Beating the loyal opposition to the punch line: There is no charge for parking because there is no parking. The parking garage is also reserved for the annointed. (You will, however, sometimes be issued a one day pass to the parking garage if you are attending a special event on campus.) One makes do with on-street parking in the neighborhoods around campus. Generally not a problem, but irks visiting team supporters who find a perverse pleasure in the vastly overrated pre-game tailgate.

I think NU is $10 per ticket day of game at Parsons.
I buy a family plan for all sports, which is about $400 for all football, ice hockey (m/w), and basketball (m/w).
For those of you who have been to Parsons, you know there's zero parking for the general populace.
However, to get the parking spot I have in the end zone (I can sit in the tail gate of my SUV and watch the game - unobstructed), one would have to buy season tickets and make a donation - which I'm guessing (based on who else has parking), is about $1,000-2,000 a year.

Georgia State is currently mailing a letter with a Football Season Ticket and Pledge Card. It basically asks how many season tickets (@ $100 a ticket) you would want. It also asks for 3 years of pledges in FY08, FY09, FY10.
Your pledges will be returned if GSU decides to not adopt football.
The thing about the Dome is that there is not a bad seat. Obviously there will be an incentive to buy the season tickets, but the benefits aren't known yet. What I know we do get:
Theatre style seating
Premium vendors
Plenty of restrooms
Tremendous site-lines
Guaranteed 72 degrees with 0 chance of rain
and most importantly
Pride and satisfaction of finally watching the Panthers play the Greatest Game on Turf

Many of the Montana Luxury boxes are partnerships. 3-4 well heeled families partner on the costs. Of course there are some that are rented by Companies and then some that are rented by millionaires. Up till this coming season they were a bargain at about $5000 a season. But you had to sign a 5 year committment and pay the entire 5 years in advance. The AD told me there is still a waiting list for Boxes even at the new $20,000 a year price tag.
Saint3333
May 16th, 2007, 10:08 AM
There will be 16 box seats in ASU's new complex. $25,000 a year and must sign a five year agreement. I believe there will be 16 seats in each. I don't have the exact amounts for the club seats, but I believe they will be $1,500 a seat.
That's $1,150,000 in revenue a year, that would be an ~ 45% increase in ticket sales revenue. ASU should be bringing in between $3.5-$4.0M a year in revenue on ticket sales for the 2008 season if the attendance figures are maintained.
Which begs the questions of Montana fiscal troubles? They charge more for their season tickets than ASU and have had this type of attendance longer...
Ronbo
May 16th, 2007, 10:34 AM
Yep, we all wonder the same thing. We get $27 a seat for tickets X 20,200 = $545,000. Then there is 3300 student tickets which this year are free. Then you count the new revenue form luxury boxes which is $137,000 per game. That's $682,000 per game gross revenue, not even counting concessions and parking.
No wonder the AD wants all the games at home.xsmiley_wix It's a cash cow.
Next season the Club Level and new deck will add another $140,000 a game. That will bring gross revenue just from seating to $822,000 a game.

Montana makes twice as much as everyone in FCS and in most cases five times as much, and they have financial troubles xeekx.

The skyboxes (of which MSU has quite a few of) certainly help generate revenue. I think building more wouldn't be such a bad idea from that aspect.

When I think of the starving kids in Africa Green. xsmhx Just kidding. Did the luxury boxes go to 20K or 25K?

The Montana boxes went up significantly this year because the original 20-year leases, which I believe were sold for an upfront fee of $25,000 (and no annual fee, except for tickets), expired this year. As a result, UM had to negotiate new leases with those people--many of whom were big hitters or big contributors--for the first time. UM circulated a price list during the winter, which ranged from $12,500 to about $16,500, I think. I don't recall the prices being as high as $20,000 or $25,000, but perhaps I'm misrembering. My view is that UM wimped out by not charging more for the boxes between the 30 yard lines. My guess is that no other school has such a small spread between the ends and the middle. Because those original boxholders had not been paying no annual fee for 20 years, UM was probably receiving some pushback from them over having to start paying a big chunk of change.
The fee includes 8 season tickets, 4 parking passes and a $500 credit towards UM catering. Boxholders can buy up to 8 additional tickets on a per game basis. Boxholders can bring in their on food and beverage on Fridays, or have food and/or beverage catered.
The boxes are old and not in good shape. They need renovation or replacement. I believe it's thought that boxholders would pay more for boxes that were in better shape.
