Tucker from PVAMU has no shot to win the award but I put him in the top 5 because he is so fun to watch. He may be the best player in FCS that nobody outside of his conference has heard of. If you catch them on TV I suggest you watch him. He reminds you of Tarik Cohen.

If I had to vote today I would say Thompson of Sac State and Smith of UNI for the awards.

Chattanooga RB Ford would be my guess for the Rice.

Mencer is a sleeper name who I'm told from scout buddies may get drafted late. Keep an eye on him.

Rozeboom is a great player but I left him out of top 5 because he lacks gaudy numbers and misses too many tackles. Smith has been a flash guy but there are 3 games this year where you will be hard pressed to find a better stat game for his position. He showed flashes against Iowa State and has been dominant at times.

Agreed. I feel like I could swap them both out weekly because either of them could finish top 5. I had Carter, Rozeboom, Cox, Mencer, and Liggs just on the outside of the top 5.

Gaudy numbers, his numbers are gaudy as hell. He doesn't have the TFL's and sacks because he isn't a defensive end. The guy's has averaged about 120 tackles of year since the beginning of time it seems. He looks to be on pace for another 100+ tackle year. I hate the guy like the plague but this guy can ball. He is as quick sideline to sideline as anybody I have ever seen. Maybe he just turns it up against NDSU but he shows up for games when they play us..

Tucker from PVAMU has no shot to win the award but I put him in the top 5 because he is so fun to watch. He may be the best player in FCS that nobody outside of his conference has heard of. If you catch them on TV I suggest you watch him. He reminds you of Tarik Cohen.

If I had to vote today I would say Thompson of Sac State and Smith of UNI for the awards.

Chattanooga RB Ford would be my guess for the Rice.

Sam Houston State, IWU, and Nicholls St know DT decently well.

Not sure of your logic for pinning him in your top-5. xconfusedx He or his OL/playcalling haven’t done anything remotely spectacular, imho.

Bull ****. He's a good player but not top 5 IMO. He makes too many mistakes, guesses wrong too many times. Plus he's an ankle twister.:D

I really don't see a lot of mistakes out of him, I mean, how many mistakes do you make and still get 120 tackles a year. He must be in the right place at the right time more often than not.

Really fun to watch and dominating the SWAC. I don't think he ends up in the top 5 but should get a ton of votes from HBCU voters and is so dynamic he will get a shot in the NFL despite being so small.

I saw a game where he was listed with 12 tackles but he missed 8 and should have had 20. He is very smart and a great player but can't miss tackles like he does and still get in top 5. He would definitely fit in at Minnesota and start in the Big Ten when I saw that game. I just hate to put a guy who has the experience he does in the top 5 with as many missed tackles as I saw, plus hearing from 3 teams who went through SDSU and said same thing. They told me free agent on him right now. If he can test very well someone might take him in round 6 or 7 though.

When you create your list of possible FCS draftees, I'll bark (again). We had a situation earlier this year when I alerted you that our QBell would be selected to which you responded "nope." I had insider 411 lol. He was selected in the 7th round, as predicted.
