Thought I would create a Thread for everyone to post their thoughts on the playoff field from week-to-week. Here is my bracket for after Week 8:

Montana/San Diego winner at 1 NDSU
Sam Houston State/Illinois State winner at 8 Northern Iowa
Central Arkansas/Furman winner at 4 Weber State
Stony Brook/CCSU winner at 5 Villanova
Lehigh/Albany winner at 2 JMU
Montana State/Portland State winner at 7 Sacramento State
UT Martin/Incarnate Word winner at 3 SDSU
Delaware/Bethune-Cookman winner at 6 Kennesaw State

The first team in the First round games are who I think would host the matchup.

If Sac State wins out, they should be a top 4 seed regardless of what everybody else around them does.

I would much rather not be seeded and Drake beat San Diego for the PFL title and get sent to Kennesaw than be the 8

Bethune-Cookman in the playoffs. Interesting

If the playoffs started today (autobid is the first team listed in each conference):

Big Sky (4): Sac St, Weber St, Montana, Montana State
CAA (4): JMU, Villanova, New Hampshire, Stony Brook
MVFC (4): NDSU, SDSU, UNI, Illinois St
Southland (4): SHSU, Central Arkansas, Nicholls, Incarnate Word
OVC (2): UT Martin, Austin Peay
SOCON (2): Chattanooga, Furman
Big South (1): Kennesaw St
NEC (1): Central Connecticut St
Pioneer (1): San Diego
Patriot (1): Lehigh

Last 4 in: Incarnate Word, New Hampshire, Stony Brook, Austin Peay
First 4 out: Southeast Missouri St, Albany, Wofford, Towson

Furman at Kennesaw St @ #1 North Dakota St
Central Connecticut St at New Hampshire @ #8 Northern Iowa
Incarnate Word at Montana St @ #5 Weber St
Austin Peay at Chattanooga @ #4 South Dakota St
San Diego at Sam Houston St @ #3 Sac St
Nicholls at Illinois St @ #6 Villanova
UT Martin at Central Arkansas @ #7 Montana
Lehigh at Stony Brook @ #2 James Madison

Note: I would've sent Nicholls/ISUr to UNI and CCSU/UNH to Nova but that would've put all 4 CAA teams on the bottom side of the bracket and all 4 MVFC teams on the top side of the bracket.

4 conferences with 4 teams in, that would have to be a first, no?

As someone who follows SoCon I’ll be a little surprised if Chatt gets in. They have played the worst three teams so far to get 3-0. Im pulling for them to beat Woff but they have all the best teams left

I have no idea who all will be in the playoffs with so much season left to play.

Yet I would bet that regardless of the remaining outcomes No Dakota State and So Dakota State will be on opposite sides of the bracket this year.

You have the PL auto-bid as Holy Cross and Lehigh playing Stony Brook in the bracket.

Oops! Good catch. Forgot to update that in my list when I checked the conference standings. I'll fix it.

Doubt we would host unless ESPN agreed to a 12 noon kickoff. Without lights, Goodman Stadium is a risk for a 2 p.m. game going into OT.

You would think an engineering school would have electricity by now. I guess they don’t need it if they still use slide rules

Thank yall for omitting Wofford. Appreciate the common sense.
