About time...

I need one of my favorite boards to 'lurk' back in the fold...

So, what's the latest on teams wanting to move to Div I? Angelo State switching to the Texas Tech system? :)

You know the usual, W.Texas A&M, Bryant, W.Georgia in 10 years. Grand Valley St. (we like to say D-II and pick on the little guys)

I talked to the Black Hills St. AD today and he said that they had no plans of leaving the DAC & the NAIA and that they are not looking at D-II right now. I can't believe Eblen got it wrong. He's the Mr.C of D-II, usually if Eblen says it, it happens.

Actually their mission statement to move to D-2 is in their website. It goes into detail what they need to do to qualify, it is extensive.

That question will get a lively response over at D-2. They are perfectly happy sitting on top the pile there and seem to have no desire to move.

This scheduling season the backers were complaining about not being able to schedule a quality non-conference opponent-at their place.

Half that board are GVSU fans.

Well I guess they need to update it because the AD told me na not happing.

BHSU is not moving to NCAA Division II at this time. The DAC had discussions a couple of years ago regarding going to D-II as a conference, but it was determined at that time, that it was not best for all schools involved. At least for next year, we plan to be a the NAIA level and a member of the DAC.
