UNH 23-17. Delaware is eh.
WM 35-28. I’ll get this right eventually.
Albany 28-14. National rank incoming for them.
Towson 45-17. Towson lets off steam from last week.
Liberty 35-0. If Ferguson plays, maybe they score 7.
Yale 28-10. One team is a lot better than the other.

New Hampshire 35 Delaware 21 - The Wildcats are trending up while the Hens are heading down...
James Madison 45 W&M 24 - The Dukes should roll past their Virginia rival...
Albany 38 URI 27 - The Danes are starting to look like a potential playoff team. Their QB is the real deal..
Towson 41 Bucknell 30 - The Tigers will win but Bucknell puts forth a respectable showing....
Liberty 30 Maine 16 - The Black Bears are in complete freefall mode. A trip to Lynchburg is not going to help matters....
Yale 27 Richmond 24 - The Eli were pummeled by Dartmouth last week while the Spiders pulled a minor upset against Maine. As it is, this seems like a game where Yale plays to their potential and notches a decent OOC win...

Week 8 Picks!
Delaware 20, UNH 10
Wildcats off a big win, the Hens off a complete clucking at Elon. I think the Hens respond with a win here.
Tribe 31, JMU 23
Sharing a similar fate to many at JMU, the Tribe rejects the Dukes on the gridiron. Game turns on Duke turnovers and a series of buffoonish plays late by DiNucci. Tribe wins.
UAlbany 34, URI 20
Danes continue on momentum roll.
Towson 47, Bucknell 6
Flacco goes on a Buffalo hunt. This one comes easy.
Liberty 31, Maine 10
Bears get crucified in Lynchburg.
Richmond 28, Yale 16
Give Yale credit for playing a CAA game - though Spiders have more talent.

Even knowing Ferguson will probably not play, I'm going with our big bad bear neighbors to the north. Liberty has not beaten anyone worth noting so far this season. Two FBS wins were against hapless NM and NM state who would both be without wins if it wasn't for the fact they played one another. The third FCS win was vs Buffalo. Maine has a history of staying with better FBS programs than Liberty - even in down years. Pulling big time for a Black Bear victory, and a brief resurgence - it will make the game more interesting in Durham. I was hoping we could dash your playoff hopes once again on the last day of the regular season!

Bold predictions with Delaware and William & Mary pulling off upsets....
Trying to be as objective as a Nova fan can be about the Dirty Filthy Birds, but it’s...
Hard to see how Delaware wins this game. Defensively they are ranked last or next to last in almost every important category. The give up 446 yards per game (only Rhody worse), have an incredible 1 sack (yes ONE) on the season & only 7 TFLs. (7 CAA player have more than the entire UD defense) Conversely, they have been sacked most in the conference with 21.
There are more really ugly stats for the Blue Hens, but those are really hard to ignore when assessing their chances. Maybe the 18-20k fans can create a hostile environment against UNH, but if these stats stay true to form it could be a boo-feast aimed at Danny the Savior. xpeacex

KPSUL this has been a very frustrating year knowing what we had returning this year. Any chance of saving the season would require a win against the Flames. Their #1 RB is of course Josh Mack and him Ernie Edwards have challenged each other to get 200yards today. If Maine were to pull this off today with true freshman Fagnano at QB it would be because the defense finally played like they are capable of. I like you would love to see the last game mean something besides getting the "musket".

Anyone watching the stream of Albany/URI throguh FLO? After no issues so far this season, I've had some trouble with the stream of this game, as it is extremely choppy both through my Firestick and on my computer. Anyone else experiencing issues?

As happy as I am that Yale won, I feel for Richmond. They outplayed Yale, missed two FG's, and should have put it away with 4 minutes left, but a personal foul penalty killed that drive.

I didn't feel **** for Yale when Dartmouth made a somewhat comparable comeback against them in 2017.

I know how you feel. I remember a game in the 70's (1975, I think) when Dartmouth scored a late TD to go up a point. The Dartmouth player that scored got a penalty for taunting. They ended up having to kick from their 25. Yale returned the kick to the 50. Two passes brought it to the 30, and Yale won it on a 47 yard FG as time expired.
No sympathy. ;)

Yes, the chop block call changed the game, but no one would’ve thought that at the time. No sympathy from me. Not after Dartmouth in 2017 and Holy Cross last year. Just ecstatic Yale won.

Hows the point system work again? Trying to figure out why 5-1 is 7pts. isn’t it 2pts for a conference win right and 1pt non conference?
