It took a late kick and a photo finish but sophomore Sofia Camacho Ferral crossed the finish line first, with only a .5 second gap between herself and second place, to take gold in the 5K at the Metropolitan Cross Country Championships as the No. 24 Columbia Cross Country women finished third overall on Friday morning at Van Cortlandt Park.
