I think this might do just the opposite than what Brennan wanted to accomplish

The program might get upgraded, but there may be a backlash against him. Doesn't CSU play Hawaii this year?

When you can't get something as simple as the soap dispenser's to work during the course of the year, can't blame him for telling the truth.

I don't blame him for coming out, cause thats ridiculous, but it might just have the opposite effect of what he says he wanted to accomplish by coming back

I just looked at the facilities on the UH website, they look pretty damn nice. Quit complaining about soap and look at the thousands of hot chicks walking around.:D :D

You want dilapidated facilities? Go visit the Del State visitors locker room!

Buy a $1 bar of soap, and a parking pass and STFU!

Brennan is a wuss. So is June Jones for getting Hawaii to change the Rainbows name to the Warriors because Rainbows supported the gay community and he didn't want his team to be a part of that.. I liked the name, it was original.

No, the guy is right. We always had soap in the locker rooms at my high school! The little things tell a lot about the direction a program is headed. If this does have the opposite effect than what Brennan wanted, then Hawaii deserves every bad word heaped upon them.

I've actually been to Hawaii and seen the campus - for it's location, the facilities really aren't that nice at all. And Aloha Stadium is a dump anymore - I can see his point. Granted, you can't beat the location (although Honolulu is more like a big city and is much different from the rest of Oahu) but the facilities there are not very good. xreadx

I hear that. Whatever's been going on it seems to be working. Then again, this is basic stuff that seems to have been neglected. Time to get the maintenance crew off the waves and back on campus doing their jobs. I hope CB stays positive and constructive through the whole thing, no point in going overly negative after such a great season. xcoolx

He needs to come see Southern. We have no visitors locker room.

t. We always had soap in the locker rooms at my high school! .

After our high school said we couldn't haze the freshmen during basketball, we made them buy shampoo, and soap for the locker room.

Each kid probably spent $10 the whole season.

I know it lasted for quite a few years after I graduated.

I don't even want to get into our facilities. They are trying to improve but who knows when.
On Brennan, if you want to come out just declare. We really don't need an explination why. Just go get the bucks.

If you've been following the Hawaii situation, there will be no backlash...

The AD is on the hot seat. Fans are upset that Hawaii may have two FCS opponents, if not three during Colt's senior year. Fans are upset that the AD kept saying there would be an announcement -- but there wasn't and fans weren't thrilled with recent coaching decisions made.

Everyone, including the Hawaii politicos have been yelling about the AD...

I agree with the posters who said this guy is spoiled. It's a good thing he's never stepped foot on some Army posts, no soap in those showers either.

He really needs to get real. He's living in Hawaii and playing college football, something most young guys his age can only dream of. I'd love to see if Hawaii's facilities are any better or worse than ours. My answer to him is quitcherbitchin and enjoy your football days, it'll all end soon enough then it's on to the real world.

But it's NOT the Army. His complaints are 100% valid.
I love the argument about "playing in Hawaii" in lieu of soap. xlolx xlolx

Hey Colt, wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a PARKING PASS? Just like every other STUDENT has to do? This guy may have some complaints about the soap dispensors, but he didn't handle this in the proper way by going to the media. Brennan is very talented, but he has had a boat load of off field problems, arrests, etc. He is a loose cannon. I'm sure he really helped himself get Heisman votes with this outburst, to say nothing of how he gave Hawaii recruiting a shot in the arm. What an idiot.

Glad I made your day Marcus. Sorry we disagree but I certainly would love to live in Hawaii and play football while being on scholly. Everything else would be trivial. You can also bet I'd buy my own soap. BTW, Irish Spring nows makes a great body wash.

Either that or I'd just be funky after practice. Been there, done that. :)

Kid just told the truth.
If any of ya'll's school's couldn't provide something as simple as working soap dispensers, people would be clowning and ya'll know it.

On Hawaii:
Hawaii is NOT the everyday paradise people think it is.xnonox
There's a lot of everyday xmadx and stress in that place. xeekx

Great to visit.
Not great place to live if your a 9 to 5 person. xeekx

Truth be told, me too!

Actually Towson didn't have soap in the showers either. But there were some players who liked to be clean, WRs, QBs, CBs xrolleyesx and would have soap and shampoo in their lockers. All you have to do is bum some off them, just don't go to the same guy twice in the same week.

I agree with you - great place to visit, not sure about the living (although I'd be willing to make a go of it!!!).

And again, people probably don't realize, but Hawaii's got some pretty crappy facilities. It looks nice when they flash to scenes of the surf and the palm trees, but a lot of the facilities are pretty bare bone and old to boot. And if they don't have soap, even more the reason to moan and groan about it.

Complaints about no soap = valid.
Complaints about parking tickets = spoiled little ****. Buy a damn parking pass or walk to practice. xnonono2x
