I know they were considering moving up, wasnt aware if it was totally definite?? Are they officially FCS Independents now????

they will still be Division II next year

This will be their last year in the NCC. 2008 they will play a D-I schedule

Pat, they are referring to Univ of South Dakota and Univ of North Dakota...not the 'XDSU' schools...per your post on KatFans.com...

Yes, last year of the DII North Central Conference.

With D2f down I haven't been able to keep up with my NCC gossip. When the Sioux and Coyotes move up, what will happen to the rest of the conference members. Last I heard UNO was thinking about the MIAA.

The rest are going to the Northern Sun except UNO which is trying to get into the MIAA but has yet to be accepted.

It's sure been taking Brandon a long time to get rid of the Russians. Its been 3 weeks or so now.

An action plan for UND's move to NCAA Division I athletics was placed in university President Charles Kupchella's hands Thursday morning, said Don Kojich, director of university relations. ... UND must formally state their intention to make the D-I move by June 1, but need not submit the full plan at that time.

UNoD and USoD are not officially moving to D-I yet... they have stated their intentions though so pretty much are doing it.

Application has been sent and the check is in the mail.:)
