Senior Walker Cress and junior Ignacio Montero both played their way into the top five on Monday afternoon, leading the James Madison men's golf team to an 11-stroke lead after the opening 36 holes at the River Run Collegiate, hosted by Davidson at the par-72, 7,317-yard River Run Country Club.
