The Big Green football team got 2019 off to a great start, traveling to Florida and coming home with a 35-6 drubbing of Jacksonville. Senior Drew Estrada did his part in assuring the victory with a career effort, setting up the first touchdown of the game and scoring early in the second quarter enroute to 235 all-purpose yards. Sophomore Izzy Glennon had three goals in a two-victory week for the women's soccer team. Against URI, the sophomore scored her first, following that with two goals in a 4-0 win over Sacred heart.
