FRISCO, Texas - HBU sophomore linebacker Brennan Young has been selected Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Week, while freshman kicker Gino Garcia has been chosen as Special Teams Player of the Week, as voted on by the sports information directors and announced by the league office Monday.
