NEWARK, Del. - A recipe for success came up just short for the University of Pennsylvania football team in its season opener on Saturday, as the Quakers dropped a 28-27 decision to the 20th-ranked Delaware Blue Hens. Penn held leads of 14-7 at the half and 21-7 in the third quarter but couldn't hold off the Blue Hens' comeack in the fourth.
