I have had them 3-7 below the AGS poll all year. Wasn't terribly impressed with them. They may well fall out or at least be 20-25 range at best. I have had Davis 1-3 higher than poll usually.

Keydets turned back the clock today, blew it, loses to Robert Morris 31-21.....(I think no one in the SoCon predicted this)....even the Richmond paper gave VMI a front page preview on Thursday, they haven't done that in a decade. it'll be another decade before they write a VMI football story.

VMI played with no energy, missed tackles on defense, receivers didn't fly around on offense, and when they got open, dropped at least 5 passes {most on 3rd down}, missed two FGs, including a 22 yarder in 2nd period. RMU's defense played with a chip on their shoulder, and RMU dominated both Lines of scrimmage....

Delaware probably doesn’t win without those two 1st half Penn turnovers when the Quakers were moving the ball and had moved into Blue Hens territory.

UD deserves credit for adjusting in the 2nd half, not getting rattled when they fell behind by 14 points, and significantly outplaying Penn from that point until the end of the game.

Oh man..how long was the weather delay?

ISUr wins 40-27 ... most pleasant surprise was our pass game showed up. QB Davis went 22-33 for 419 yards, 2 TDs, 1 Pick, 187 QBR .. his best day as a Redbird. Rund defense was stout ... 26 carries for 25 yards. Pass defense ... well their gguy is a good one, and he was 32 of 56 for 357 yards. But we were in his face all game ... 5 sacks, plus 15 QBHs.

But for us, such a big relief to see us open things up in our pass game. Davis even had a 76 yd TD called back due to penalty. Hope his confidence is back to stay. Also got our top WR Edgar back ... he had 12 catches for 228 yards ... we've missed his presence a lot .. nursing an injury the first 3 games.

Got a bye week, then the Bison for the MVFC opener at home.

Oh man..how long was the weather delay?

Short answer: 2.5 hours

Long answer: the threat of weather scared off a lot of people. Stuff was already getting cancelled for Saturday as of mid-day Friday. People were expecting a mid-day deluge (and they got it). Started the game with ~1500 people.

It eased up a bit by the time the game started. ~5 minutes into the game, it gets worse again, but with added lightning. So...delay time.

2 1/2 hours later, still raining, but the lightning had stopped, so they got out there to resume the game. Continued to rain on and off throughout the rest of the game (although not as heavy as earlier).

By the time the game had ended, we were down to pretty much football players family members and a few "die-hards" (like me).

UIW getting blown out by Sam Houston in 2019 says nothing about UIW’s performance in 2018. In fact last yesr’s UIW team beat SHSU handily.
