PHILADELPHIA, Pa.—Sophomore Melissa Sakar and senior Ali Pollack won two singles matches apiece and two Lions doubles teams consisting of junior Jennifer Kerr/first-year Shivani Amineni and first-years Julia Haynes/Michelle Xu each won two doubles matches apiece as 10 Columbia individuals and doubles teams remain alive in championship contention after day one at the 23rd annual Cissie Leary Memorial Invitational Friday at Hamlin Hecht Tennis Center.
