FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield's Page Lowry broke a scoreless tie with x:xx left in the fourth quarter to give the Stags a 1-0 victory over the Columbia field hockey team Friday afternoon. Fairfield (6-1) outshot the Lions (3-2) 10-0 in the second half and finally broke through on a scramble play and held off Columbia in the final moments.
