CHESTERTON, Ind.-- Sophomore Jackson Davis fired an opening-round 69 and followed with a one-over 73 to sit in fifth place individually, pacing the Fighting Hawks' men's golf team at the Crusader Challenge Monday at Sand Creek Country Club. Davis blistered the front nine, carding a five-under 31 with five birdies and four pars, the first sub-70 round by a UND golfer since Patrick Traynor's 69 in the second week of the 2016-17 season.
