THIBODAUX, La. - Following an extremely early bye week, the Nicholls State University football team will begin its three-game swing in Texas with a rematch from 2017 with the Prairie View A&M Panthers. Kickoff at PVAMU Football Stadium on Sept. 14 is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday's matchup will be the first nonconference road game against an FCS opponent in the regular season since 2008 when Nicholls fell at 10th-ranked Northern Iowa in 2008.
