geez, does albany suck or something???? I am a Monmouth guy and although we are decent, we lost to Albany 2 years ago, we lost 3 O lineman and best player from last year, are without our other stud RB and frankly did not look great against Lafayette.. Meanwhile Alabny hung tough against FCS, smoked an ok Bryant team (as they should)- and CAA team against us???? How come so many Albany picks and also why so many predicting MU in a quasi blowout.??????

Hens 30, NDSU 27
Bison accustomed to home cooking - not happening in Newark DE. This is/should be the biggest game at Delaware Stadium in years. I think the Hens play up for this and pull off the win.

UAlbany 23, Monmouth 20
More a hope than a pick. The CAA should fine UAlbany for scheduling a road game at Monmouth.

JMU 55, Morgan State 0
Hot on the heels of a blowout of St. Francis. No wonder JMU fans question their relevancy in FCS. If you are going to play OOC FCS teams, at least schedule some teams of stature, interest and relevance. No contest here.

SBU 20, Wagner 10
Winner gets free EZPass on the Verrazano Bridge for a week. Good OOC match-up and should be competitive.

Villanova 45, Bucknell 6
Nova continues to beat up PL neighbors.

Tribe 35, Colgate 22
Tribe showed some grit in 2H in Charlottesville when they could have easily folded. Enough spark exists to top Colgate. Competitive game but a home win.

Programs seem to be moving in opposite directions.

No dragon slaying for Cats this year even though it's really debatable to consider this is an FBS/FCS match-up. FIU is an international community college.

Tough CAA opener for Tigers. Flacco sacked on last play, leaves field in tears.

NOW we're talking. the question is, how will MVFC voters react in either scenario? if Towson wins a game against a top 5 team, they will move up..... one spot. Maine will fall out of the rankings.

now if Maine beats a top 10 team.... they will stay where they are. after all, they were ahead of Towson to begin with. Towson will fall out of the rankings, and will be banned from being ranked for the next 3 years.

i'll take Maine. should be a good one.
