Preferred Walk-On

Three matchups this week with both teams in the AGS Top 25 as well as some interesting matchups due to over/under-performance thus far. Enjoy!
#1 North Dakota State (MVFC) @ #20 Delaware (CAA) - Return game for two teams from two FCS power conferences. Both are ranked and both are 2-0.
#4 Eastern Washington (Big Sky) @ #25 Jacksonville State (OVC) - Mentioned as the obvious GOTW choice for week 3 a couple of weeks ago. Then the Gamecocks were upset by a Southland team predicted to finish in the lower half of the conference, and the Eagles gave up 31 points to a D2 team.
#10 Towson (CAA) @ #6 Maine (CAA) - The Black Bears are out to prove that their CAA title and deep playoff run a year ago was no fluke. The Tigers are looking to prove that their early playoff exit to Duquesne was indeed a fluke. This contest provides an early conference game with potential playoff seed implications.
Alcorn State (SWAC) @ McNeese State (Southland) - The Braves were predicted to finish high in the SWAC and are 2-0; however, they have yet to play an FCS team (loss to FBS, win against D2). The Cowboys are 1-1, with a one-score win over a SWAC team predicted to finish 2nd to Alcorn State and a lopsided loss to an FBS P5 opponent. This game provides a gauge for both teams.
#37 Duquesne (NEC) @ #28 Youngstown State (MVFC) - The Penguins have shown that they may be a force to be reckoned with in the MVFC and have taken care of business thus far. After surprising Towson in the playoffs last year, the Dukes are predicted to be at the top of the NEC and took care of a D2 team in their opener. Youngstown State will be Duquesne's first test of the year, and the Penguins are looking to avoid a letdown.
Abilene Christian (Southland) @ #11 Central Arkansas (Southland) - The Bears have one of the few FBS wins this year, vaulting them into the top half of the AGS Poll. The Wildcats play their first FCS game of the year (FBS loss and D2 win). Central Arkansas has more to lose than they have to gain in this one, and Abilene Christian could begin their conference play with a statement.
Samford (SoCon) @ #22 Wofford (SoCon) - This one looked good at the beginning of the season; however, the reason it is listed now is because both teams have completely fallen flat coming out of the gate, and this game likely represents which will be in the running for the playoffs at the end of the year, and which might end up cashing it in for the season. Both need this win.
Austin Peay (OVC) @ Mercer (SoCon) - This game is included, because the Bears are 2-0 and at this point (I know it's early) are an early contender in the SoCon. The Governors lost a one-score game to an AGS Top 15 team (Central Arkansas).
