Leatherneck women's volleyball began their first of two days in Cape Girardeau, Mo. with an exciting 3-2 comeback over the Evansville Purple Aces for the first time in program history. In their second match of the day, the Leathernecks fell to hosts Southeast Missouri State (3-0).
