Wow, that comes as a complete shock. Especially after everything Key was saying on TV during the draft. Hmmmm..

Yeah did you hear what he said "Jarrett reminds me of me" Jarrett is cost less and is supposed to be a younger version of Key. Key is getting old (34). If you play fantasy football you know that Key is on his way out. His numbers are okay, not good.

I was thinking the same thing when they drafted him

interesting...I'm sure Fox and Hurney have good reasons...they better. Without Johnson, last year would have been even more miserable.

Yup, I would've liked to see Jarrett get at least one year behind Key. Depending on how he plays it could be the Jake to Steve throw every play all over again. :D

Steve Smith likes to do it all anyway. It was Winke that blew their season when Delhomme got injured. That won't happen this year. Give Carr a chance and I think he'll come though for you guys.

I wonder who will take Key or is he done.

I hope so man, the Panthers offense the past two years has been unbearable to watch. xlolx xlolx Hopefully with a new O-Co and some fresh faces it'll get exciting.

Key had heat with some of the execs who feel he should've taken blame for some of the passes he didn't catch. He refused to do that to make Delhomme look good. This is according to charlotte.com

His numbers have declined over the years. And he hasn't really been a touchdown scorer. First getting cut for running his mouth, then getting cut to sign T.O., and now this. So sad xbowx

The only way Keyshawn is done is if he decides to retire. If he still wants to play I'm sure there will be more than a few teams interested in his services. Even at 34 he could be a very good #3, possession receiver on alot of squads.

...As I'm writing this it just occurred to me that the Giants might actually be a good fit for him: Burress, Toomer, Keyshawn, Moss and Steve Smith.

Not a bad 1-5 + Shockey to see if you can actually get some consistent production out of Eli.

Keyshawn's receiving numbers don't tell the whole story. He is one of the best blocking receivers in the NFL...

Is it possible he's just a cap casualty? Was May 1 a bonus day for him? If so, he could end resigning with them...

Exactly Whitey. Why are the Panthers sticking with Colbert instead??
I'm a little mad right now at the Panthersxmadx

NO, Mountaineer is just plain telling the truth. It has been excruciating watching the Panthers go 3 and out over and over. Mind numbing, put your a$$ to sleep on Sunday afternoon, so predictable my wife could scheme the defense against them, hope the other team makes a mistake game plan:(

The good news for Carolina is since 2001 whoever I pick to go to the Super Bowl that year does ever go but 1 always makes it the next year. Well 2006 I picked Carolina vs Cincinnati so one of you should be going. I'm due to be wrong though.

Now THIS guy the Pats should go after. I have no doubt Moss will be sitting in the Boston or Providence police station by the month of October therefore it would be nice to have a Keyshawn Johnson to step in.
