The Denver Nuggets are finding out why they won't win a championship with Iverson.

They've got a machine gunner that fires blanks. xeekx 9-25 last night. xlolx xlolx xlolx

Iverson's quotes after the game:

"I just didn't play well," said Iverson, who is 25-of-70 in the last three games. "I wasn't in my game. I had so many good looks and so many easy baskets that I missed, it just was frustrating tonight and it's something I have to work through. If I knew how to adjust to it, I would." xoopsx

Here's a hint Iverson: practice. xcoachx xwhistlex

Bird, Magic, Jordan...Horry...they all practiced their outside shot in order to get better. Many good players actually try to improve their game after they come into the league. Imagine if Iverson were a real threat to hit a three or an 18 foot jumper...wow.

But, never mind; it's just practice. xnutsx

i watched five minutes of that game and iverson promptly went 0-5 in that time... 0-3 from outside and missed 2 easy layups...

Allen Iverson is the new Stephon Marbury. People in Philly have known this for sometime now. Unlike Marbury, who's had the opportunity to drag down several different teams, AI has only been in Philly, causing sports writers to blame everything else for the teams travails. Not that Iverson was the sole cause of Sixer suckiness, but he's obviously not clear on the concept of "teamwork."

I've always said, anyone can score 20 points a game when they shoot 30 times

Even at 40 cents on the dollar, Philly did allright. Sometimes you have to just minimize your losses.

One of the best decisions the Sixers made. Amazing, that a team can improve by getting rid of an All Star. xrolleyesx
