I covered both Paul Williams' dad and uncle when they were high school and college players. His dad, James "J.D." Williams played in some Super Bowls as a starting CB for the Buffalo Bills. He was also a tremendous player at Fresno State. They used to blitz him off the corner and do all sorts of cool stuff with him. Paul's uncle, David Williams was on a Central Section finals team in California (no state prep championships there, just section titles in 10 areas) and then showed some promise as a speedy WR before quiting school after a couple of years at Fresno State. Paul Williams has more size than either his dad, or uncle and could be a tremendous NFL player with a little work.
