I was in Winnipeg for the Blue Bombers win over Toronto. BB scored on the opening kickoff and again about two minutes later. Game not as close as the score. Odd that the clock runs on extra points. Different size field, different rules. Interesting experience.

Watched the two games today. Pretty fast paced and entertaining.

This is...something. Apparently they've cut IG Field down to just 80 yards for the game tonight, meaning the end zones are now the 10 yard line. It's because of concerns over the conditions in the actual end zones, where the CFL goal posts were removed. #wfp

It would have made more sense. The CFL has the goal posts on the goal line, like the NFL used to do during the 60s. It has a 20 yard deep end zone.

Green Bay sat 33 players tonight. Yet the NFL charges fans high prices to watch this crap. If I had gone to that game I'd be disgusted. It will be interesting to see how many people showed up.

I've been to that stadium earlier this summer. Nice place.

I saw my first CFL in person game last June in Winnipeg, not knowing that they would become the Grey Cup champs.

I have an invitation to see the Saskatchewan Roughriders but that will be delayed until at least 2021.

I used to go to games in Winnipeg. Saw some great players. Doug Flutie, Vince Ferragamo, Rocket Ismail, David Overstreet, and Mark Gastineau during his tryout.

Went to the 1991 Grey Cup in Winnipeg, zero degrees that day. Toronto owners were on the sideline, Wayne Gretzy & Janet Jones, John Candy and Bruce McNall. Janet was by the heater most of the game. Rocket Ismail was nearly hit by beer on a return TD. Fans rushed the field after the game. We went down there, players running by. We could see the Grey Cup on the Toronto locker room. One of my favorites Burton Cumming sang the National Anthem. Great times!

Yes- I saw a sign during the game about Chris Streveler, former South Dakota QB who led the Bombers to the Grey Cup title in 2019. He signed with the Cardinals so they had a new QB. I thought I heard a name from North Dakota during the game too. I would bet that there are others. I know that the CFL has a limit on the number of American players.

I really enjoyed my trip there two years ago when the Bombers beat the Argos. People were very friendly.

Winnipeg is a fun town. Been to a few CFL games in the old Winnipeg Stadium. Hy's Steakhouse is great, and if you are with the guys, there's Teaser's. Strawberry Delight was the special one night. Ms. Hard Body Canada at the time.
