New things the conference will be broken down into 3 tiers voted on by school. (Dunno what that means)

Your last 3 games will be against teams in the same tier. (stupid!)

Schools can't play "Buy Games" in which there paid to play, doesnt say they cant pay teams to play them though.

(my favorite) Teams can not play a out of conference opponent whos RPI was below 200 the previous season.

Well, 10 years ago, the A-10 looked like they were the "7th" big time basketball league (i.e., Top non-BCS league). They've slipped the last few years by only sending 2 or fewer teams to the tournament. Right now, the Missouri Valley and Moutain West are clearly stronger.

Is this reaction overkill? The only thing we can do is wait and see.

The CAA has been better the last couple of years. I wonder what Richmond thinks about leaving the CAA for the A-10 now.

That's the basic formula that the MVC used to raise it's RPI

The A-10 will improve once Linda Bruno is replaced.

The A-10 will improve once Linda Bruno is replaced.

I'm not familiar enough with her situation to agree or disagree.

One of the problems the A-10 schools have is that they are clearly "stepping stones" for many coaches looking for bigger and better:
Mike Jarvis, Jim Herrick (on his "comeback tour), John Callipari, Thad Matta, etc...

Also, the disparity in undergraduate size and quality of facilities is amazing. On one end you have Temple, UMass, URI, Charlotte. On the other you have St. Bonnies, Fordham, Duquesne, LaSalle. It's a weird conference that on the surface, doesn't make any sense.
