It looks like they did a football study in 2015, two years before the current Bellarmine president took over. At that point, it was about the Great Lakes Valley Conference and however many scholarships they offer. All systems appeared to be GO.

The D-I move became the priority. They would seem to be a fit for the Pioneer. Not so close to ASun partners Stetson and Jax, but an easy drive to Butler and Morehead State.

The question is, do they still want football.

I doubt they add football, at least until they complete transition.

The sun is not exclusive to Atlantic coast states. But is a Blue Moon (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAVFpThoeb4) only in Kentucky?
