Moon Township, Pa. – Senior midfielder Tyson Gibson of the Robert Morris University men's lacrosse team is the recipient of the 2019 Northeast Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the league announced Thursday. Gibson's honor is for men's lacrosse as the NEC handed out scholar-athlete awards to its 2019 spring sports, which included honoring a total of 11 student-athletes across 10 programs.
