NCAA FCS APR for MVFC

[Redbird 4th & short]

congrats to Bison .. jumped into 1st place year. Their ascension from 2014-15 when they were tied for 5th at 951 has been impressive.

My ISUr is holding steady around 969 to 972 since 2013-18, but we've fallen from 1st place to tied for 4th. Whole conference has really improved the last 4 years .. impressive as a conference !! Not quite ready for Ivy League, or even Colonial .. but still impressive.

yes, very impressive what MoST has done .... except NDSU did it while winning Natty's and MoST continues to struggle on field.

But what impressed me most was just 4 years ago, ISUr was 3 time MVFC winner and the only program at 969 or above ... and now there are 6 programs at 969 or above, and we fell from 1st to tie for 4th place with 2 other teams despite roughly maintaining our APR score for 4 years now. The gap between Colonial and MVFC has closed considerably in just 4 years ... this tells me the APR metric is doing some good. Anythign can be tweaked and improved, but I don't think it is a coincidence that teams are "managing" their student-athlete academic performance even closer due to this APR metric.

Give NCAA and MVFC some credit.
