SACRAMENTO, Calif. –*Day two of the IRA National Championships featured a pair of highly competitive races in the semifinal rounds for the Columbia heavyweight rowing varsity and second varsity eight boats. The Lions' varsity eight was part of a four-boat group that finished within two seconds of each other. Columbia's second varsity eight won its race by three seconds to ensure both crews made it to the third level final Sunday.
