SACRAMENTO, Calif. –*The Columbia heavyweight and lightweight rowing teams opened up competition at the IRA National Championships Friday on Lake Natoma. The Lions' varsity eight and coxed varsity four each qualified for the grand finals. The heavyweight varsity and second varsity eights raced twice with the semifinal rounds looming Saturday.
