Former Cal Poly standout running back Perry "The Jet" Jeter, inducted into the Minor Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015, passed away on May 18, 2019, one day after his 88th birthday, in Steubenville, Ohio, due to the effects of Alzheimer’s.
