ugh! that sucks. guy was tough as nails and an inspiration to I-AA and other guys out there who weren't classic I-A size and still wanted to make it.

Seemed like a classy guy in every i-view I've seen. RIP

I went to a couple of Panthers games back when they were brand new, and Sam Mills was one of those guys everybody loved as an expansion draft castoff making a great unit in the early days. A tragic loss and prayers for him and his family.
