Is anyone watching the Arena Football League? Could someone please tell ESPN that they don't have to show all of the Philadelphia Soul games. I think they've been on TV for at least 3 straight weeks. xconfusedx xconfusedx
Go Tampa Bay Storm!! and take the Devil Rays with you xlolx xlolx xlolx

But Jon Bon Jovi is hot! I'm not gay and I can even see that. ;)
BTW, my friend and teammate from HS is the head coach of the LA Avengers. My wife cracks up every time he's on the TV.

I only watch if there is a player I'm interested in. I.E. Las Vegas has Etu Molden and Joe Douglass both former Griz players(receivers no less). I prefer to watch NFLE over AFL.

I'm in an AFL fantasy league, but I haven't watched a lot of games yet.

Ron Jaworski is a part owner of the Philadelphia Soul, which probably explains why ESPN is showing many of their games.

I keep tabs on the AFL, particularly the LA Avengers. One of my favorite players in covering App State through the years is Josh Jeffries, who is in his fourth year with the Avengers as a FB-DE-LB.

There have been bunch of App State and Montana players who have played AFL through the years. One of my favorites was when the Charlotte franchise, now decesed, had a big All-American DL named William Peebles lining up at FB.
Another good story, App State had this player in the 1990s named Johnny Smith (best known for a 70-yard interception return for a TD to clinch the 1994 24-14 upset of top-ranked Marshall — the first goal posts in the Duck Pond game). Smith had been a great high school player in Florida, setting some rushing records. He played TB and FB for the Mountaineers before breaking his ankle BADLY and finished up as a starting FS. Anyway, I get this release one day that Smith had signed a contract to play in the AFL with the Charlotte Rage, or whatever they were called. I was particularly close to Smith and congratulated him on his signing, only to find out he had NO IDEA what I was talking about. He hadn't signed anything with anyone. The AFL has come a long way since then.
