That's right. He's lost some weight since I went to school. Gunston!! Our pep band used to give him crap, but the guy was a good sport.

Nice helmet. I like the simplicity, the symmetry, and the fact that it doesn't try to say too much. Let your other logos do the heavy lifting when it comes to athletic branding. On the side of the helmet, take it easy.

I think it's a good design. Since hey are a new program, it's important to get the "ODU" word out. They'll likely have a pictures in the paper and occasionally be on regional TV and thus the helmet should identify the school....at least for the formative years.

89, that was the one I was talking about. Maybe take out the Old Dominion U. at the bottom and just put ODU at the bottom with the lion so it's not so crowded

Also reminds me too much of Duke Dog's crown at James Madison. It looks good on Duke Dog (one of my favorite FCS mascots), it looks boring for ODU.

I definitely think that ODU shuold have that kick-ass lion on the helmet. I think even just the head would work. To me it looks PERFECT for a helmet!
