NEW YORK - The Columbia baseball team will head to Philadelphia with hopes of clinching an Ivy League Playoff Series berth when they take on Penn for a three-game series to round out the regular season. The Lions, who need just one victory over the Quakers to earn a postseason spot, are currently tied for first place with Harvard at 12-6 in the Ancient Eight standings and are still in the running to earn an outright or share of the Ivy League title. Please note, the opener Friday, May 3, has been moved up to 1 p.m. in anticipation of rain in the forecast. Saturday, May 4 will feature a doubleheader starting at noon.
