I just traded for a 1960's baseball from the Boston Red Sox. I think it's 1968 because of Floyd Robinson. There is also a name I can't make out, looks like Bob Torr? What do you Red Sox Fans think?

Here are the signatures on the baseball
Carl Yastrzemski
Russ Nixon
Juan Pizarro
Russ Gibson
Jose Tartabull
George Scott
Lee Stange
Mike Andrews
Garry Roggenburk
Dave Moorhead
Gary Waslewski
Ken Harrelson
Reggie Smith
Dalton Jones
Floyd Robinson
Darrell Brandon
Jerry Stephenson
Elston Howard
Sparky Lyle
Gary Bell
Bob ?, looks like Torr

I'm not sure on the value, but I got 4 other baseballs that I liked in the trade.

What about Bob?

Only short name I can remember in '68 was Joe Foy.

No, it looks like Bob Torr or Bo Worr, the second B kind of runs together with the last name.

I can't find anything close on the roster....

Quick story about one of the players on that ball...Russ Nixon, was born in my home town and moved to Somerset as a youth. My dad used to stop by Somerset High on his route to watch Russ play because he worked with his dad. Always said he was good enough to play in the big leagues, and surer than heck, he made it...

Thanks guys, you helped me figure it out.
Not on the roster, means it could be a coach.

Elston Howard is probably the most valuable name on the ball, just because his autograph is tough to find being he passed away around 1980.

Just wondering but what did you trade for it?

BTW, I have a card signed by Nolan Ryan and his son Reese that is a picture of the two of them walking off the mound after Nolan's 300th win. It's one of my most prized possessions.

Yaz, Howard and Doerr are ALL HOF. Like Travis or someone said, Howard died very young, so his autograph is more scare. Remember too that Howard played on some great Yankee teams (he didn't make the HOF because of hitting less than .200 with the Sox). Yaz is obviously the most famous, but that doesn't always equate to the most valuable autograph.

Nolan Ryan is a nice autograph to have.

I traded a 1908 Minnesota Gophers vs Carlisle Indians Roster Card and Ticket Stub with Jim Thorpe. 1910 Minnesota Gopher Annual with highlights from the 1908 game with Carlisle inside.

I received 5 baseballs.
1. 1968 Red Sox
2. 1966 Twins
3. Ball Signed by Reggie Jackson, Dave Winfield & Phil Rizzuto
4. Ball Signed by Happy Chandler, Bob Feller & Brooks Robinson
5. Ball Signed by Paul Molitor
