The Redshirt-Freshmen came to play this year.
I was pleasantly surprised. Long gone are the days of the option when your QB's combine to go 56-84 for 554 yards. The Hatch Attack is alive and well.

asu did that in 2004 and a sad 6-5 season followed... that would be an amazing improvement for gsu after last year

Amazing? I don't think so.
Had GSU been able to kick XP and chip-shot FGs last year, that's about where they would have finished.
6-5 is to be expected, not hoped for.

You-know-who did a lot of damage to GSU, but if our new staff has a decent offensive perspicacity then we will be 8-3 or 7-4. If we are worse than that will I want the staff fired? Probably not, but I'd be dissappointed.

Kicking is still an issue. I don't see ANY improvement. Someone needs to work with these guys and not just let them play grabass on the corner of the practice field.

*mockingly stands back in shotgun, puts knee in air, does the stupid "pretend to hand it off to the RB standing right next to you" thing*
This chuck n duck crap is ruining college football. Everyone is installing it to "increase offensive production".
Whatever. Defenses are just going to get even more used to it and shut it down even more.

Until that time I will take the points/wins. Much like that triple option you hate so much. Defense never really got a hold on that one, and had decades to do it.

How does change ruin football? That is how the game is played.
One guy puts in what works, the next guy finds a way to stop it. Then repeat.
