We start with a friggin high school game and I found only a couple of I-AA teams getting on TV. For all you Hen fans, Delaware St. gets on an ESPN channel and you don't! Yikes! Of course Weber St. gets on against Fresno and the Griz don't so who knows???!!

Thanks for pointing out all the games, Ralph. Again for the number of games and channels, not much respect for I-AA and as you pointed out, the playoffs!!!! At least Bresnan Cable is adding CSTV!!

Before the "ESPN is bad and they hate I-AA" police show up, remember that if I-AA football got ratings they'd show it. It doesn't, so they don't.

The football game is being blacked out in Texas, the HS one that is, even if it involves a TX team due to UIL rules here that no HS games can be televised on Fridays to avoid competition against the games at stadiums around the state.

How do they know as they have not televised enough games to see? I can't remember the last time, other than the playoffs that they put I-AA on TV. The I-AA championship game got higher ratings than, I believe, 4 lower tier bowl games.

I think it is extremely cool to see Public Television doing I-AA games, particularly because I can get this channel up here in North Carolina. I also like it when stations do replays of games. It makes it so much easier to see more teams that way. Too bad they didn't add CSU's game with CCU to this package, or Wofford's contest with The Citadel.

Is ETV going to be on DirecTV?
No, but I get it on my Dish. If you had the local stations package on your satellite from the Charlotte market, or Charleston, Greenville/Spartanburg, or Columbia, you would get that station as part of the package. This is the PBS affliate for South Carolina. We are fortunate to get a national PBS feed and three or four other PBS stations here and this is one of them.

I agree about the benefit of ETV carrying these games. If this is a success I hope they'll do a game a week in the future. They tried to do highschool games but couldn't get enough interest so they are concentrating on college.
The Citadel is definitely reaping the rewards, but I think it is mainly coincidence since they are hosting so many SC teams.

It is time for Delaware fans to get on those lame losers at WHYY. They only have their franchise because the are serving the "underrepresented citizens" of the State of Delaware. If South Carolina can do football games so can that useless channel 12. By the way, channel 12 can throw in some Nova games too. New Jersey Public stations do Rutgers games so this is not just a Southern thing. Whyy depends heavily on the public for support. Isn't it time they did something that warranted public support?

More likely ESPNU, which is only available in about 2 counties in Kentucky as far as I can tell. If it's really on ESPN2 I'm changing my work schedule, pronto.
