Freshman Kate Owens and the James Madison women's golf team each shaved a pair of strokes off their opening round on Saturday, as the Dukes kept their hold on fifth place through the second round of the Colonial Athletic Association Championship, hosted at the par-72, 6,103-yard Reserve Club at St. James Plantation.
