Bolts had a season for the ages. Hard to see anyone beating them 4 times, but you never know. I think my Avalanche could make some noise in the west.

The Wild would have been the team do it, but they couldn't get out of their own way. 5-4 and 3-0 were the H-H scores in favor of them. They ended up giving them 13% of their losses this season.

Islanders in!

How good does it feel? Just ask Robin Lehner (https://twitter.com/cultureoflosing/status/1112171956512714752)

I won't disagree with that, however, Parise actually has played to the contract recently and Suter is nothing more than a bum who eats ice time.

Playoff hockey is the best in professional sports and it isn't even close.

Super Bowl is the Super Bowl and the NBA and MLB sucks. NFL playoffs are good but none of them compare to NHL playoff hockey.

Just like that the Blues score only 23 seconds into the game....

Interesting article about the Islanders emblem. I hated the Gorton Fisherman.

The book they mention there, We Want Fish Sticks, is a great read. Amazing how terribly the organization was run on so many levels.

Second OT, Hurricanes dominated the first one- looked like a ten minute power play. But they didn't score. 12th game seven in NHL history to go past one OT.

And as I post that the Hurricanes score to win game seven 4-3. We will have a new Stanley Cup champion.

Disappointing end to what was an otherwise awesome season :(

Lots of interesting decisions to make in the offseason, really need some goalscoring (plus making choices on a few free agents)

Interesting how well the Isles performed this year, after losing their top goal scorer in Tavares.

Why bother having replay? All of the officials missed the obvious hand pass by San Jose, who score and win in OT.

They say it is unreviewable. But they did review the 4th Mav goal in the NCAA playoffs by looking at replay and said it was offsides.

My big point is- get the call right. That is what you have cameras for. Sometimes you can't see enough to overturn it. This was obvious.

Yeah I don't get the "non-reviewable" play idea. If it's a blatantly obvious infraction fix it FFS!
