Sophomore Ignacio Montero fired back-to-back rounds of par or better on Saturday to carve out a spot in the top five as the James Madison men's golf team closed out the opening day of the Irish Creek Intercollegiate, hosted by Davidson at the par-71, 7,099-yard Club at Irish Creek.
