Freshman Kate Owens played her final 11 holes in 2-under on Monday, earning the first medalist honors of her career and setting a program record for 54 holes as the James Madison women's golf team closed out play at the Edisto Island Invitational, hosted by Charleston Southern at the par-71, 5,902-yard Plantation Course at Edisto.
